Roanoke Leader
This community was saddened Sunday morning when death called one of our oldest 
citizens, Uncle John T. Yarbrough, to a better world. He was loved by all who 
knew him. This church and community has lost a great member one who was always 
faithful to his church and home. Funeral and interment will be at his home 
church, Providence, today, conducted by Rev. Mr. Layton. Mr. Yarbrough is 
survived by his wife and a number of children.
