Lineville Headlight
Mr. P.T Yates better known as "Uncle Peter" Yates, died at his home rear Ofelia 
early Tuesday morning. He was about 63 years of age and had been an invalid for 
two or three years. The deceased married Miss Mary Willingham and lived 
practically his lifetime in the community in which he died. '"Uncle Peter" was 
known by many and was held in high esteem by all. His was a life to emulate for 
he was a man in every sense of the. word. For many years he was a member of the 
of the Baptist Church. The funeral services were held at Mt. Prospect church and 
conducted by Rev. J. D. Johnson Wednesday morning. The deceased is survived by 
his wife, four sons and four daughters.
