Anniston Star
Funeral services for John T. Yates. age 70, who died at his home here Wednesday 
morning after an illness of several days; were conducted at 10 o'clock Thursday 
morning at the Baptist Church. Mr. Yates had been a resident of Wedowee for 
several years, having moved here from Lineville. He was a member of the Baptist 
Church; surviving are his widow and three daughters.

Additional Comments:
He was buried in the Wedowee City Cemetery.
