Cleburne News
Funeral services were held Sunday at. Harmony Church in Randolph County for Mrs. 
Idella O. Yates, 77-year-old resident of Rt. 3, Bowdon. Mrs. Yates died Saturday 
afternoon at her home She had been in good health and had been doing her chores 
at home the morning before she died. Rev. Joe Henderson officiated at the 
service. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Cantrell in charge. Surviving 
are five sons: W. D., of Rt. 4, Bowdon; Oscar O., and N. D., of Rt. 3, Bowdon; M. 
B. of Graham; D. C. of LaGrange, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. H. L. Traylor, Rt. 2, 
Bowdon; Miss Effie B. Yates, and Miss Annie I. Yates of Rt. 3, Bowdon. In 
addition, 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive.
