Anniston Star
Services for Louis "Hunn" Zachery, 95, of Anniston will be 1 p.m. Friday at New 
Life Christian Center in Ashland with Bishop Johnnie Sandlin officiating. Burial 
will be in County Line Baptist Church cemetery in Wadley with Anniston Funeral 
Service in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services. Mr. 
Zachery died Saturday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include two sons, 
Bobby Joe Zachery. and his wife, Angelia, of Ashland and Marlon Carr of 
Anniston; four daughters, Roseanna Heard of Ashland, and Betty Taylor, Martha 
Jean Phillips and Sharlon Carr, all of Anniston; a stepdaughter, Katie Lou 
Simmons of Ashland; 24 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-
greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mr. Zachery, a Tallapoosa 
County native and lifelong Alabama resident, was a member of County Line Baptist 
Church in Wadley. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jessie Lee 
Hardnett Zachery; and his second wife, Dollie Horton Zachery.
