This is a family photograph of my great grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert A. 
Boyd. They were Robert Alexander Boyd and Elizabeth Caroline Green Boyd. They 
lived in Wedowee, Randolph County, Alabama. Robert A. Boyd served in the 31st 
Alabama Infantry (Confederate) as a PVT during the Civil War. One of his sons, 
Andrew Jackson Boyd, was my grandfather.

Robert A. Boyd was born on July 24, 1838, and died on May 6, 1930. He and 
Elizabeth Caroline Green are buried in the Wortham Family Cemetery in Randolph 
County, AL
