In the 1920s, My Mother's father remarried and sold farm. He acquired this 
store on the Louina Road near Roanoke and ran it several years. By 1930 he had 
become the Justice of Peace for Roanoke (and maybe Randolph County) and was 
living around Mitchel Street and Handley Avenue.
