  Thou art gone to thy rest,
 Forever to bask 'mid the Joys
  of the blest.

Additional Comments:

Newer, second stone, shared with John McGill with John on one side and
Francis on the opposite side.  Spelling of Francis's first name is different
from the older stone, which has "Franses" and the death date of Aug 6, 1897.

John E. & Frances McGill are shown in the 1860 US Census, Randolph 
County, page 849B, Almond Post Office, Family #1562, lines 6-9 as follows:

McGill, John E., age 28, male, a farmer, value real estate 300, value 
  personal property 75, born in GA
McGill, Frances, age 20, female, housewife, born in AL
McGill, William F., age 1, male, born in AL 

They are living next door to John McGill, age 62, and his wife, Elizabeth,
age 50, both born in SC.  With them are Zachary T., age 14, James E., age
12, Isaac N., age 10, Samuel W., age 8, and William R., age 26.  All
children were born in Alabama except for William who was born in GA.
