B.T. Waites was called to Wadley last Friday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Walter Fletcher, who died at Cusseta. Rev. W.T. Daniels, pastor of the deceased passed through Roanoke with the remains, accompanying the sorrowing parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Thompson. Mrs. Fletcher was a fine christian lady and her death is lamented by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and a son.
