NEWSPAPER issue of Wednesday, November 29, 1911

John W. Radney and Mrs. C.D. Manley were called to Wadley to attend the 
funeral last Thursday morning of their sister Mrs. J.M. Thompson who died 
Wednesday morning, two hours after being stricken with paralysis. She was a 
noble christian woman and will be greatly missed.

WADLEY News, Dec. 4th
Since our last writing the death angel has again visited our town, this time 
taking Mrs. Jim Thompson.  Mrs. Thompson or "Aunt Sallie" as she was better 
known here, was a true, consecrated christian woman.  She was always, unless 
providentially hindered, in her place at church and Sunday school.  She will 
be greatly missed by all but may her life inspire others to a better living.  
The deceased was a sister of Mr. John Radney and Mrs. Cass Manley of Roanoke 
and Mrs. Monroe Prescott of Malone.
