MASHBURN AND MISS SUSIE FORD ---------------------------- June 27. -- At 8:30 o’clock this morning, at the home of Sheriff and Mrs. R. H. FORD, their daughter, Miss Susie [Louise FORD, 8 May 1888--30 Oct 1951], was married to Dr. Fred [Ross] MASHBURN [23 Mar 1883--4 Jul 1923], a popular physician of this place [Wedowee]. Rev. H. S. MATTHEWS performed the ceremony, in the presence of a small company. Dr. and Mrs. MASHBURN left shortly for Roanoke, where they took passage for Tybee [Island, Georgia] to spend a few days.
