J. W. RUCKER. The prominence and popularity of the couple had drawn a large concourse of friends and well wishers to the place. The decorations were exquisite -- modest yet artistic. Mrs. Wade CARLISLE was in charge of the musical feature and Mrs. Frank HORNSBY sang in excellent voice. Mr. B. O. DRIVER and Miss Atha BOULWARE entered as the first of the bridal party, followed by Mr. L. L. WELCH and Miss Grace GAY, of Wadley. Down the center aisle came Miss Imogene McKISSAC and Miss Inez GAY, of Lineville [Clay Co., AL] -- the latter being ring bearer. Misses Estelle CLEMMONS and Mary Beth TATUM were flower girls and Misses Mamie ELLIS and Sarah FAUSETT were ribbon bearers. The groom-to-be appeared with Mr. W. E. McINTOSH and the bride-elect with her brother, Mr. M. D. BOULWARE. After the ceremony Dr. and Mrs. GAY left in their new “Cloverleaf” for a bridal tour to Columbus, Jacksonville, Atlanta and other points. They will be absent till the second of June. The evening prior to the marriage an elegant reception was tendered by the Shriners in honor of Dr. GAY and his prospective bride in the Masonic Temple.
