THOMAS and Mr. Guy HEFLIN, of Lordsburg, New Mexico, were united in marriage. The church was prettily decorated in green and white, ferns and foliage plants being used on the altar and chancel rail. The bridal pair entered the church to the sweet strains of the wedding march, played by Miss Ada DUTCHER, and were met at the altar by Rev. R. J. REES, who performed the ring service. The bride is the popular daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. THOMAS, one of Lissie’s oldest and most respected families, and is loved by all who know her. She was prominent in social and church work and will be greatly missed. Mr. HEFLIN was a well known resident of Lissie eight years ago and was then, as he is now, in the employ of the Southern Pacific [railroad]. He has many friends here who congratulate him upon the prize he has won. The bride was gowned in her going away suit of brown cloth with accessories to match. After the ceremony, an elegant wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. HEFLIN left Saturday for their future home in Lordsburg, New Mexico, and the best wishes of a host of friends go with them for a long and happy life.
