B. [sic - R. J.] BREED and Miss Pearlie Jane ARRINGTON were married at the home of the bride’s father, Mr. John ARRINGTON. Rev. R. B. HESTER was the officiating minister. A number of the friends of the esteemed couple were present to enjoy the pleasing occasion and to partake of the good dinner which came on in due time. Lowell was the location of the Handley Manufacturing Company textile mill and was later incorporated into neighboring Roanoke.
