WOOD MARRIED TO MISS PATRICK WEDNESDAY ---------------------------- The marriage of Miss Annie Jim PATRICK of Conyers [Georgia] and Mr. Wyatt Blake WOOD of Roanoke, Alabama, took place at the home of the bride's parents Wednesday afternoon, July 23rd, at six o'clock. The wedding was a very quiet home affair, the guests being limited to the relatives and very close friends. While the guests awaited the coming of the bridal party, Miss Mary Ethel TUCKER, sang Hardelot's "Because." The bride wearing a going-away suit of dark blue, with lovely hat and shoes to match, entered with the groom as Miss Maude TUCKER played Mendelsohn's Wedding March. The impressive ring ceremony was performed by Rev. L. M. SWIGGS of the First Methodist Church. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. WOOD left for a motor trip through the mountains of Tennessee. The out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. R. W. CAMPBELL and family of Covington [Georgia] and Messrs. Wyatt and Howell Wood of Roanoke, father and brother of the groom. -- [Originally published in the] Atlanta Journal [on the] 27th.
