Turn north onto 169, drive 1.6 miles and make a sharp right onto Porter Road. It is a well-traveled dirt road marked with three or four mailboxes, a green street sign and a stop sign. About a quarter or a third of a mile up Porter Road on the left is a little turn-around, elevated above the road, where the cemetery is. The cemetery is surrounded by a painted wrought-iron fence, and filled with white gravel rocks, which help keep the weeds away. The fence and the square of the cemetery are oriented to the northwest with the gate in the center of the southeast side. All the graves however have heads at the west, feet toward the east, so the square of the graves form a diamond inside the square of the fence. The stones are all small and simple and in good shape. Several old graves, especially in the first two and a half rows, have newer stones (later 20th c.). All the writing is legible, no ichens, weeds. The cemetery is well cared for generally. There are six rows of graves, beginning at the NW corner. All the rows are parallel. The first row has two graves in it. The second has six graves in it, all to the north end. There are several unmarked spaces at the southwest end of this row. I do not know whether these are unmarked graves or just spaces never used. The third row extends from the northeast corner to the southwest corner and has three graves, about two spaces and then two graves. The fourth row has seven graves, the fifth has four graves and a space, and the final‘row' is just one grave in the southeast corner.
