To the Hon. Judge of Probate of Russell County, Ala.

Your petitioner, who is the Adm. of Elizabeth Averett ded., shows that there 
are five negro slaves belonging to said estate and some household furniture, 
that there are ten ehirs of said estate and it being evident that said slaves 
and other property cannot be equally divided among the heirs, your petitioner 
prays that a decree may be made authorizing him to sell said slaves and other 
property.
