Brown Mr. James T. Brown, well known Phenix City man, died Saturday morning at the residence of his son-in-law, W. T. Bain, at Fortson, Ga. Mr. Brown has been in declining health for some time but it became serious only three days ago. He is survived by one son, Mr. W. C. Brown, of LaGrange, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. W. T. Bain, of Fortson, Ga.; Mrs. Hattie Peterson, of Fortson, Ga.; and Mrs. J. L. Sanes, of Phenix City; one brother, Mr. John Brown, of Hurtsboro, Ala., and one sister, Mrs. Fannie Saxon, of Phenix City, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Trinity Methodist church of Phenix City, with the pastor, Rev. H. E. Wilson, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. W. J. Layton. The interment will be in Girard cemetery. The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Mr. Mote Brittingham, Mr. John Freeman, Mr. T. R. Booth, Mr. Homer Skipper, Mr. Will McDonald and Mr. Berry Bestely.
