John F. Rutledge

Funeral for John F. Rutledge, 77, retired Russell County farmer and bookkeeper
who died Wednesday at Crawford, Ala. was held yesterday at the Crawford
Methodist Church.

The pastor, the Rev. Sam Yearby conducted the service.

Burial was in the Crawford Cemetery with Bob Flournoy, Bennie Huguley, J.B.
Ellison, J.J. Peppers, Jr., Rufus Stillwell and Howard Baker serving as the
active pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were J.E. Laney, Sr., W. Oliver, J.J. Peppers, Sr., J.B.
Parkman, Marshall Huguley, B.W. Capps and the board of stewards of the Crawford
Methodist Church.
