After getting off the Interstate at the Cook Springs exit, turn right. Go under a tunnel and make an immediate left up the hill to the Cook Springs Baptist Church. The cemetery is in the back of the church. The church and cemetery was established sometime in the early to mid 1800s. The markers with the oldest death dates are W.R. Cooke, 1872 and wife Elizabeth L. Cooke, 1861. E.C. Cooke, a brother of W.R. Cooke, was buried there in 1862 and his wife Martha B. Cooke in 1861.
