George Lewis Patrick who died 3-20-1845, St. Clair County, Alabama Orphan’s Court Book B, page 120, St. Clair County, Alabama The State of Alabama, St. Clair County, Before me Rop Philips Judge of the Probate Court in and for the County and State aforesaid came Daniel E. McCurry administrator de bonis non of the Estate of John Chenault Decd. who was administrator of the Estate of George L. Patrick late of St. Clair County, Alabama Decd. who being duly sworn doth depose and say that the foregoing account between himself as said administrator and said estate as set forth on pages one two and three is just and true and that he has charged himself with all that by law he is chargeable and from said account there is still sixty eight cents due from him to the Estate of George L. Patrick decd. which is here in open Court turned over to Wm. G. Riggs Coroner of St. Clair County, Alabama and Ex officio administrator de bonis non of the Estate of said George L. Patrick Decd. Said Administrator by way of report shows that the following named persons are all the heirs at Law and distributes of the said George L. Patrick Decd. Towit George W. Patrick who is of lawful age and who resides some where in California but whose particular place of residence is unknown, Lewellen Patrick who is of lawful age, James Patrick and Martha Hancock wife of James M. Hancock late Martha Patrick all of whom are of lawful age and reside in Tishomingo County in the State of Mississippi, John Patrick who is of lawful age and resides somewhere in the State of Arkansas but whose particular place of residence is unknown… Andrew H. Patrick who is now dead leaving the following named children his heirs at law towit Sarah Ann Simmons late Sarah Ann Patrick daughter of the said Andrew H. Patrick and grand daughter of the said George L. Patrick decd. wife of Robert T. Simmons & Western M. Patrick Feme Sole grand daughter of the said George L. Patrick decd. both of whom are of lawful age and reside in Miscogee County in the State of Georgia Sarah Coleman late Sarah Patrick daughter of the said George L. Patrick decd. wife of James B. Coleman who is now dead leaving the following name children all heirs at law towit Wilson L. Coleman Andrew R. Coleman James E. Coleman Patrick J. Coleman George M. Coleman & George L. P. Coleman all of whom are grand children of the Said George L. Patrick decd. A portion of the above named heirs are of lawful age and a portion are not but which are not this affiant is unable to say but all of whom reside in Edgefield District State of South Carolina. Lucinda Lee late Lucinda Patrick daughter of the said George L. Patrick decd. and wife of Mark Lee which said Lucinda Lee is now dead leaving the following named children all her heirs at law towit Sarah Partin late Sarah Lee wife of Ferick Partin who is of lawful age and grand daughter of the said George L. Patrick decd. Mary Linsey late Mary Lee daughter of the said Lucinda Lee & Mark Lee and grand daughter of the said George L. Patrick wife of Calvin R. Linsey who is now dead leaving a son named William R. Linsey the only heir at law to the Estate of the said Mary Linsey the said William R. Linsey being a great grand son of the said George L. Patrick decd. who is an infant under twenty one years of age and all of whom reside in Franklin County in the State of Arkansas and Susan Burnly late Susan Lee Daughter of the said Lucinda and Mark Lee and grand daughter of the said George L. Patrick decd. who is of lawful age and resides in Johnson County in the State of Arkansas, this affiant reports the further facts that the interest of George W. Patrick in said Estate has be transferd to James H. Meanes with power to collect and receipt for the same that James Patrick receipted to John Chenault in full of his interest in said Estate while the said John Chenault was the administrator of the same that James M. Hancock in right of his wife Martha Hancock late Martha Patrick receipted to John Chenault in full of his distributive share in the Estate of the said George L. Patrick decd. that Lewellen Patrick has received his part of said Estate in full from John Chenault administrator of said Estate and has transferred the same to the said John Chenault and that Lewellen Patrick brought an attachment suit against John W. Patrick and garnished John Chenault as administrator of the Estate of the said George L. Patrick decd. for the distributee share of the said John W. Patrick in said Estate and that on the 7th day of September 1849 John Chenault paid one hundred and Eight 90/100 Dollars to James M. Meanes who was by Lewellen Patrick authorized to receive and receipt for the same upon said garnishment all of which is respectfully submitted.
