Haynes kh_art@yahoo.com May 5, 2004, 10:40 pm lots 48, 49, 50; town of Asheville Written: 1835 Recorded: 1835 Administrators Deed to James Rogan This indenture made and entered into this twenty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five and fifty ninth year of the independence of the United States of America between Lucy Sloan administratrix and William Sloan administrator of the estate of Archibald Sloan late of St. Clair County deceased of the one part and and James Rogan of the county aforesaid and state of Alabama of the other part witnesseth that the said Lucy Sloan administratrix and William Sloan administrator as aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and twenty dollars lawful money of the state aforesaid to them in hand well and truly paid by the said James Rogan the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold released delivered conveyed and confirmed and by there presents do grant bargain sell release attain convey and confirm all and singular the three following parcels or lotts of land situated lying and being in the town of Asheville in the county of St. Clair and state of Alabama and known and marked and numbered in the plan of said town as and by the names of lotts number forty eight, forty nine and fifty reference being had to the map of said town will more fully appear together will all and singular the rights priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to have and to hold the aforesaid granted and bargained premises unto the said James Rogan his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever in feesimple and the said Lucy Sloan administratrix and William Sloan administrator as aforesaid the aforesaid granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said James Rogan his heirs &c against the lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever shall and will the aforesaid premises forever warrant and defend In testimony whereof the said Lucy Sloan administratrix and William Sloan administrator of the estate of Archibald Sloan late deceased have hereunto subscribed their names and affixed their seals the day and date first above written Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Wm M.
