Quinn Cemetery (Chelsea area) – Located on Co.Rd. # 47 proceeding from Chelsea to Columbiana, about two miles, turn left on dirt road just about 1/8 mile past Liberty Baptist Church. NOTE: No burials here since this cemetery list first copied by Mr./Mrs. John G. Reese, 1/31/1976. Sites listed in order the Reese's found them in the cemetery. Observing my own family sites, it appears that they started from the far back side of the cemetery and worked toward those that face the main road in the front. There are 151 graves & nearly 40 unmarked sites. Salser, no birth or death date, H.Salser. no birth or death date. E.R. or E. B. Salser no birth date, died 1861,these graves are all in a row. If I can be of any help let me know. Frank Watts ----------------------- Also from Martha Smith, the compiler of this cemetery: Glenda Blackerby wrote to say that her husband's grandfather - Tolbert Simmons - had been omitted from the list. Not too long after that I went to B'ham, so cut thru there to see if I could find the marker. Maybe it's gone, etc. but I think since Glenda has done the transcription for Spring Creek, that she knows about that area & is already looking for her family markers just as I am.
