Elliot, admr. of the estate of Hardy Horton and reported in writing under oath that under the power confirmed in the will of sd deceased he sold on the 28th day of Nov 1870 the lands of sd estate when David Cadergan became the purdhaser of the SW¼ of the NW¼ of sec 13 Twp 22 R1W for $332 that John Phillips became purchaser of the NW¼ of the NW¼ sec 13 Twp 22 R1w for $104. that Molcey Arnett became the purchaser of the SW¼ of SW¼ sec 12 Twp 22 R1W for $184 that Daniel A. Horton became the purchaser of NE¼ of NE¼ sec 14 Twp 22 R1W for $166 that sd Cadergan and John Phillips have each paid purchase money bid by them respectively in full and that Molcey Arnett and David A. Horton have complied with the terms of said sale. Approved pg. 391 8 Jan 1871 It appearing that James M. Horton, child of Hilliard J. Horton is a minor under the age of 14 yrs of age residing in this county and having an estate in his own rightand it futher appearing that his sd father Hilliard J. Horton is a suitable and proper person to be appointed guardian for sd minor. $300. bond payable and conditioned as required by section 2417 of the revised code of Alabama.
