AL, 1837-1862 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Shelby County, Alabama Deed Book Q, p. 224: State of Alabama Shelby County } This Indenture made and Entered into this 29th day of August AD 1862 between W. B. Kelley agent for Jas. T. Stedham of the first part & Abraham Glazner of the Second part all of Said County & State. Witnesseth that the Said party of the first part for and in consideration of the Sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the Said Second party the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have sold and hereby sell confirm and convey unto the Said Second party the following described lands to-wit: W 1/2 of the NW 1/4 Section 7 Township 20 R 3 East Containing in all Eighty Acres more or less. Also these Shares out of the original tract formerly belonging to James Stidham. To have and to hold to said Second party his heirs and assigns forever the above described land and premises and the Said of the first part hereby covenant with the Said party of the Second part that he is lawfully Seized of and has good right to Sell and Convey Said land and hereby bind myself my heirs and legal representatives forever to warrant and defend the title to Said land and premises against the claims of all and any persons in law or equity and against the government of the United States. Given under my hand and seal this 29th day of August AD 1862. W. B. Kelley who is known to me & whose name is Signed to the foregoing conveyance personally appeared before me on this day & acknowledged that being informed of the contents of its within conveyance he executed the Same voluntarily on the day the Same bears date as attorney in fact for James T.
