"Lee Chancellor
    Funeral services for Lee Chancellor, a lifelong resident of the 
Harpersville area were held on August 25 at the Harpersville Methodist Church.
    A farmer, Mr. Chancellor was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac 
Chancellor, who were early settlers in Shelby County.
    He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Graham, Harpersville; two 
nieces, Mrs. Warren Hamby of Jackson, Miss., and Dr. Beth Stone of Des Moines, 
Iowa; two great nieces and two grand nephews. 
    He was a member of the Harpersville Methodist Church, the Farm Bureau and 
the Cattlemen's Association. 
    Burial was in the old Childersburg cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Clois Williamson, Jim Pruet, Jimmy Sharbutt, Dot Guy, 
Doug Wyatt and Ralph Caddell.
    Rev. C. E. Stricklin, Jr. of Harpersville, and Rev. Warren C. Hamby of 
Jackson, Miss., officiated." (1)

Son of Isaac Suttle Chancellor and Mary Elizabeth Hughston. Lee was born on 8 
Mar 1905.
