The State of Alabama -- Shelby County.
To any Judge of said State, any Justice of the Peace of said County, or any 
other Person Legally Authoried:
YOU are authoried to celebrate the Rites of Matrimony between Richard Nash and 
Eliabeth Clary of said county, agreeable to the Statute in such cases made and 
provided. Witness:---My hand this 17th day of Ocotber 1871.

By virtue of the above License, I have solemnied the Rites of Matrimony 
between the above named persons on the 17th day of October 1871
