Gowdey and Miss Aileen Smith were married in Livingston, Monday night, Sep. 27, the ceremony being performed in the presence of a few friends of the contracting parties. The groom is the son of Mr. G.C. Gowdey, president of the Bank Of York, and until recently was one of the owners of the York Light and Power Company. The bride is a charming young lady of Gadsden,Ala., and has many friends and admirers in York, where she has been a visitor at the home of her sister Mrs. Rube Sims. Mr. and Mrs. Gowdey will make their home in York, where they are extended a hearty welcome and are being congratulated by their numerous friends.
