Depart Talladega on Plant Road heading toward Childersburg. Turn right on Renfroe Road, County Road 191. Take a left on Renfroe Tower Road. This road is located just past Concord Methodist Church and across from A "pink" block building (which is the old Masonic Lodge). Cemetery entrance is located 1/4 mile on your left. Entrance is a dirt road and can hardly be seen from the road. Note: This cemetery is private property and permission should be obtained from the owner before entering. The cemetery is owned by James Hubbard, Attorney-at-Law, Anniston, Alabama. The cemetery primarily houses the family of Dr. Albert Sims who was featured in the 1904 edition of Notable Men of Alabama. Also buried in the small cemetery are a few Renfroe citizens that were close to and or worked for Dr. Sims and his family. Several of them were patients of Dr. Sims. Sims, Jr. 7/26/1947 (This baby is the grandson of Dr. Albert and Kate Sims and the son as noted) Allen, Francis Marion 7/10/1814 May 17,1897 (same headstone as Margaret) Father (Francis was the father of Kate Allen Sims and the husband of Margaret Porter Allen) Allen, Margaret Porter 11/7/1817 2/7/1898 (same headstone as Francis) Mother (Margaret was the mother of Kate Allen Sims and the wife of Francis Marion Sims) Sims, Albert Gallatin 1884-1910 (Albert was the eldest son of Henry Sims and Martha Louisa Hayes Sims. Albert was an MD, husband of Kate Allen Sims, and father of Sims children.) Sims, Kate Allen 1852-1928 (Known as Miss Kate, Kate was married to Dr. Albert Gallatin Sims, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Allen and mother of the Sims children.) Sims, Marion Hayes 1874-1933 (Marion was the son of Dr. Albert and Mrs. Kate Sims. Marion was an attorney and Probate Judge for Talladega County. Marion never married.) Sims, Henry Porter 1876-1957 (Henry was the son of Dr. Albert and Mrs. Kate Sims. Henry worked for the railroad, farmed and lived at the family home all his life. Henry never married.) Sims, Ruth Lee 1893-1966 (Ruth was the daughter of Dr. Albert and Mrs. Kate Sims. Ruth taught at the Alabama Institute for Deaf & Blind.) Sims, Margaret Watson 1884-1959 (Margaret was the daughter of Dr. Albert and Mrs. Kate Sims. Ruth taught at the Alabama Institute for Deaf & Blind.)
