Directions: Located in Cosper Bend, Childersburg, AL. Travel Highway 280 East to Childersburg. Right on County Road 8 West. Travel 8 West for 1.3 miles to County Road 98 West. Turn right on 98 West, cross over Railroad tracks and travel to second white home on right. (The driveway of the first white home is blocked by a fence and has numerous no trespassing signs.) The second home is less than 1/4 mile from the first white home and is a private residence, occupied by the property caretaker and his wife. The cemetery is located behind the two homes between the two lakes. Permission to travel on property should be obtained. Property is currently owned by Elton B. Stephens, Jr., Birmingham, Alabama. Caretaker Notes: The current caretaker stated the small community originally used the cemetery and during the time individuals were buried here it was community property, not private. Relatives have moved many of the individuals who were originally buried at this cemetery to public cemeteries. The last caretaker, Edward Needham was the last person to be buried here.
