At least it was progressive enough to possess a church bell, which was transferred to the First Presbyterian Church in Talladega when the brick building was completed in 1868. At this time, no doubt, the Mardisville membership was moved to the Talladega Church. It is regretted that we have no records of this church." (1) (1) E.
