THE STATE OF ALABAMA
TALLADEGA COUNTY                              This indenture made and entered this 10th day 
of August, one thousand and eight hundred and fifty nine by and between JONATHAN ETRIS  of 
the county of CATOOSA state of  GEORGIA of the frist part and THOMAS K. PURSLEY  of the 
same county and state of the other part ________? ,that the said JONATHAN ETRIS for and in
considerations of Two hundred  to him in hand paid at and before sealing and delivery of 
these presents hath granted , bargained, sold and conveyed and doth by these present  
grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said  THOMAS K. PURSLEY  his heirs and assigns all 
that tract as parcel of land lying and being in the county of TALLADEGA the state of ALABAMA
known as as the  west half  of the south west quarter of section three township twenty of 
range eight  to have and hold the said tract as parcel of land unto the said  THOMAS K. 
PURSLEY his heirs and assigns forevertogether with all singular the rights members and 
app------------? thereof to the same in any manner belonging to him and his own proper use 
benefit and beh---of in fee simple and the said  JONATHAN ETRIS  will forever warrent and 
defend titles to the same to the said  THOMAS K. PURSLEY  his heirs and assigns forever .
                          In testamony whereof he has hereunto set his hand and affixed his 
seal the day and date above
