D. Buchannan, whose trials were contained on the docket of the circuit court for Tuesday, were at liberty Tuesday morning as the result of a jail break at the Talladega county jail which took place sometime between 9:30 Monday night and 4 o'clock Tuesday morning. The men made good their escape from the local jail by using a one and one-half inch cast iron bar torn from a cell cot to pry away steel bars of their cell and also heavy railings guarding outer windows. -- Talladega Home.
