Alabama Reporter
We regret to learn that Miss Sue Groce. daughter of Judge J. E. Groce, died on 
the road from Chandlers Springs her father's residence, on Monday last. She had 
been in feeble health for some time; her father carried her to Chandler's Springs 
some two months since, thinking it would benefit her. She seemed to improve only 
for a short time. She has been very ill for several weeks past. Her father 
thought it best to take her home, started from the Springs in his carriage she 
died about three miles from home. Miss Sue was a most excellent young lady, a 
strict member of the Methodist church, an affectionate daughter, and a kind 
sister. Her death will be lamented by all who knew her. We sympathize with the 
family in their bereavement.

Parents are buried in the Groce Family Cemetery, Talladega County, Alabama.
