The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the residence, conducted by Rev. K. N. Matthews, pastor of the First Methodist church, followed by interment at the City Cemetery. Mrs. Scott was at an advanced age. She is survived by two children, Mrs. Ed Scott and Alex Scott, three sisters, Misses Virginia and Emma McCain, of this city, and Mrs. Alice Scott, of Montgomery, and two brothers, George McCain, of Jackson, Miss., and J. M. McCain of Montgomery. Mrs. Scott was a good woman, a true friend and kind neighbor and all who knew her regret her death. Additional Comments: Name Precious A.
