Ashland Progress
M. M. Todd, who moved with his family to Sylacauga sever al years ago, died 
Sunday after a very brief illness. He is said to have gone about his work as 
usual on Friday but was taken suddenly ill on Saturday and was later taken to a 
hospital where he died. His wife and nine children survive him. Mr. Todd was well 
known here in Clay County where he spent most of his life. He has two brothers 
and two sisters now residing in this county viz W. W. Todd. S. P. Todd, Mrs. 
Arnold and Mrs. McLeroy.
