                                        ABNER RAY

ABNER  L RAY, the son of RANSOM RAY & CATHERINE WHITTEN RAY  was born about 
1837 in Meriwether County GA. According to the marriage records in Tallapoosa 
Co Al Abner RAY married Mary E FIELDS Oct 24, 1866. James RAY bondsman Joseph 
TAYLOR JP.

 The 1900 census of Jayton TX has his wife as LAVONIA RAY. Married about 43 
years which works out for FIELDS?? Can this be MARY E FIELDS?

According to Abbe's LEWIS Obit there was another sister
1900 Jayton Texas. Abner & Louvina RAY  were living with W R LEWIS and wife 
Abbie. ABNER RAY & WIFE still living in 1920 He wrote to my great grandmother 
Nancy RAY FARROW DAVIS that their sister had passed away..
