Located in Alexander City, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, on 
a hill over looking the Tallapoosa River (Lake Martin) 
near the present day housing development on Stowe Ferry 
Landing. Originally the old road going to the cemetery was 
part of the present day Scott Road.

Additional Comments:
Stowe Saxon in a compilation stated that the "Stowe Family Cemetery is located 
on the second large hill west from grandfather Lee Stowe's about 100 yards 
south of the Stowe Ferry....This hill has a high outcroppping of flint rock 
running north and south to identify it. According to tradition many members of 
the Scott family are buried in this old cemetery in unmarked graves.
