ALSEY ADAIR ET AL; GUARDIANSHIP OF MINORS 1856

The State of Alabama
Tallapoosa County
Know all men by these Presents, That we Alsey E. Adair, Lydia Dillard & Samuel 
M. Bell are held and firmly bound unto Simeon Goolsby, Judge of the Court of 
Probate for said County, and his successors in office, in the penal sum of 
Twenty two hundred Dollars; for which payment, well and truly to be made and 
done, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, jointly and 
severally, firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals, and dated this 22nd day of September 1856.
The Condition of the Above Obligation is Such, That whereas the above bound 
Alsey E. Adair has been appointed Guardian of the Estate & persons of Samuel M, 
Louisana J. & Franklin R. Adair & Lydia A. Adair minors:  Now, if the said 
Alsey Adair shall well and truly perform all the duties which are or may be by 
law required of her as such Guardian, then the above obligation to be void; 
otherwise, to remain in full force.
