GOODWIN, Henry D. KNIGHT, Bird H. YOUNG, and C. F. KNIGHT, are held and firmly bound unto his Excellency A. P. BAGBY, Governer of the State of Alabama for the time being and his successors in Office, in the penal sum of one Thousand Dollars Left hand column reads: Regestered May 27th 1841 S. GOOLSBY Register good and Lawfull money, for which payment well and truly, to be made, and done we bind ourselves, our and each of our Heirs Executors and Administrators, and assigns jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this the 30th day of March A. D. 1841. The Condition of the above bond or Obligation is such that whereas the above bounden William H. GOODWIN has been elected, Constable in and for Tallapoosa County. Now if the said William H. GOODWIN, shall and were and truly, perform all the duties which are or may be required of him by Law of him as such Constable, and pay over all monies which he may Collect, in has official Capacity, then the above Obligation to be null and void, Else to remain in full force in Law and equity.
