Gray, Francis R. Powers and Thomas F. Farrow are held and firmly bound unto Allen D. Sturdivant, Judge of the Court of Probate for said County, and his successors in office, in the penal sum of Three thousand Dollars; for which payment, well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 14th day of January 1867. The Condition of the Above Obligation is Such, That whereas the above bound Silas Farrow has been appointed Administrator [can’t read] of the Estate of Franklin Farrow deceased: Now, if the said Silas Farrow shall well and truly perform all the duties which are or may be by law required of him as such Administrator, then the above obligation to be void; otherwise, to remain in full force.
