ESTATE OF FRANKLIN FARROW; ORDER GRANTING LETTERS 1863

Order Granting Letters
Franklin Farrow, deceased, estate of
Letters of Administration
Probate Court
July the 16th 1863

This day came Mary Farrow and made application praying to be appointed to the 
administration of said estate, alleging that she is the widow of said decedent 
who was an inhabitant of this state at the time of his death; that he departed 
this life intestate in this County more than fifteen days, said leaving 
property in this state of the value of about three thousand dollars and 
probably not more to the best of Applicants information and belief, and the 
said Mary Farrow having given Bond in the sum of six thousand dollars with 
Richmond Fields and Willson L. Banks as her securities which bond and such 
securities therein have been duly taken and [can’t read] as good and sufficient 
by the Judge of this Court.  It is ordered and decreed that said Mary Farrow be 
and she is hereby appointed to administer said estate, and that the [can’t 
read] letters of Administration do issue to her forthwith.  It is ordered that 
an appraisement of said estate be made, that William P. Hill, Franklin Allen 
and Joseph T. Taylor be and they are hereby appointed and authorized to make 
such appraisement and that they have notice of said appointment.
