JAMES M. RAY EXCR BOND; SOLOMON LACKS ESTATE 1855

The State of Alabama
Tallapoosa County
Know all men by these presents, that we James M. Ray, Ransom Ray, Joseph T. 
Taylor and James W. Herren, of the County and State aforesaid, all held and 
firmly bound unto M. C. Lane, Judge of Probate, for said County, and his 
Successors in office in the penal sum of Eleven Hundred Dollars, for whereas 
payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs, 
Executors & Administrators jointly & severally, firmly by these presents-Sealed 
with our seals, and dated this 29th day of January 1855.
The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound 
James M. Ray has been appointed, one of the Executors of the Estate of Solomon 
Lacks, deceased.  Now if the said James M. Ray shall well and truly perform all 
the duties which are required or may be required by Law, as such Executor then 
the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force.
