SAMUEL T. RAY, CHARLES C. POLK & GEORGE M. KLEIN; ESTATE OF JAMES R. RAY 1862

The State of Alabama
Tallapoosa County
Probate Court of said County
Know all men by these Presents; That we Samuel T. Ray, Charles C. Polk and 
George M. Klein are held and firmly bound unto Allen D. Sturdivant, Judge of  
the Court of Probate in and for the County of Tallapoosa and his successors in 
office, in the penal sum of Four thousand Dollars; for which payment, well and 
truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, 
jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals, and dated this 27th day of November 1862.
The Condition of the Above Obligation is Such, That whereas the above bound 
Samuel T. Ray has been appointed Administrator of the Estate of James R. Ray 
deceased;  Now if the said [blank] shall well and truly perform all the duties 
which are or may be by law required of him as such Administrator, then the 
above obligation to be void; otherwise, to remain in full force.
