ESTATE OF SILAS RAY; ORDER TO RENT LAND 1862

Order to Rent Land
Silas Ray, deceased, estate of,
As to order to rent land.
Probate Court
October the 31st 1862
This day came James M. Berry the Executor of said deceased, and filed his 
application in writing and under oath, setting forth in said application that 
said deceased left land and mills which should be rented out for the year 1863, 
and praying an order of Court for that purpose, and this Court being satisfied 
that the facts set forth in said application are substantially true.  It is 
considered ordered and decreed that the said James M. Berry Executor as 
aforesaid, proceed to rent out said lands and mills either at public or private 
sale as he may deem best and most beneficial to said estate.  Ordered further 
that said application be recorded, and that the said James M. Berry pay the 
cost of this application. For which [can’t read] execution issue.
