South half of Section 18 of Township 24, Range 2
Written:  March 18 1842
Recorded:  March 19 1842


William Luker and Catherine his wife "for and in consideration of the sum of 
$800 dollars in hand" sell the South half of Section 8 of Township 24, Range 22 
to Charles S. and Benjamin Luker.  Witnesses Martin Luker and John Moore.  
Martin Luker testified to the signatures of himself and Moore at the time of 
recording.

Additional Comments:
Charles and Benjamin were the eldest sons of William and Catherine Luker.  
Martin Luker is believed to have been William's brother and John Moore was 
William's son-in-law.
