SILAS RAY TO ASA A. WHITE

The State of Alabama
Tallapoosa County

Know all men by these presents that I Silas Ray for and in consideration of the 
sum of thirty dollars to me in hand paid by Asa A. White of the state and 
county aforesaid do hereby remiss silence surrender and forever quit claim unto 
the said Asa A. White his heirs assigns all my rights title claim and demand of 
every kind whatsoever in and to the following Lot piece or parcel of Land to 
wit Lot number one and two in Block Three Thence in the Town of Dadeville in 
the County and State To have and to hold the said Lot of Land with all the 
appurtenances thereto belongs to the said Asa A. White his heirs and assigns 
forever against me and my heirs.  In witness hereof I have here unto set my 
hand and seal this 5th day of March A. D. 1846

Tallapoosa County

Simeon Goolsby Clerk of the County Court in and for said County do hereby 
certify that on the 5th day of March A. D. 1846 the within named Silas Ray 
personally appeared before me and acknowledged that he signed sealed and 
delivered the foregoing Deed on the day of the date thereof to the said Asa A. 
White

Given under my hand and seal of office the day and year above written
