RAY 1856 The State of Alabama Tallapoosa County Know all men by these presents, that John Bostock and William Page for and in consideration of one hundred and fifty dollars, to us in hand paid by Rachal C. Ray, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do hereby give, grant, sell, bargain, enfeoff, and confirm unto the said Rachal C. Ray, her heirs and assigns, all that piece or parcel of land, situate lying and being in Tallapoosa County aforesaid, known and distinguished as the North East Quarter of the South West Quarter of Section thirty three 9330 in Township twenty two (22) of Range twenty two (22) East, subject to sale at the land office in Montgomery Alabama. To have and to hold the afore granted premises, to the said Rachal C. Ray her heirs and assigns, to their use and behoof forever, And we do covenant with the said Rachal C. Ray, her heirs and assigns, that we are lawfully seized in fee of the afore granted premises, that they are free from all incumbrances [sic], that we have a good right to sell and convey the same to the said Rachal C. Ray her heirs and assigns, and that we will warrant and defend the said premises, to the said Rachal C. Ray her heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons. In witness whereof we John Bostock and William Page have hereunto set our hands and seals this seventh day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty six.
