Grizle his wife of the State and County above mentioned on the one part and Ransom G. Ray of the State above mentioned and county of Tallapoosa on the second part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Ransom G. Ray the receipt of which whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted given bargained sold enfeoffed and confirmed unto the said Ransom G. Ray his heirs and assigns the following tract or Parcel of Land to wit: Lot Number two of section Sixteen of Township twenty two, Range twenty two containing one hundred and sixty more or less acres, to have and to hold the afore granted premises unto the said Ransom G. Ray his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and we the said Thomas Grizle and Salatheal Grizle do covenant with the said Ransom G. Ray that we have a good right to sell and convey the same to Ransom G. Ray his heirs and assigns and that they are free from all encumbrances; and that we will forever warrant and defend the same to the said Ransom G. Ray his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all persons. In testimony whereof we the said Thomas Grizle and Salatheal L.
