RAY TO CRADDOCK 1868

$18.07 By the first day of November next I promise to pay G. T. Craddock or 
bearer Eighteen Dollars and Seven cents (18.07) for value received and I being 
desirous of securing the payment of the same, I this day bargain & sell unto 
the said G. T. Craddock his heirs and assigns thirty bushels of corn to have 
and to hold and if I fail to pay or cause to be paid the above sum, then the 
said G. T. Craddock has the power to take possession of the corn above 
specified and sell it publicly or privately.  Sept 14th 1868.
